Your Ideal Client

Each one of your clients looks, sounds, and acts a certain way. 

If you do not know who your IDEAL client is, then the chances of them finding you are slim. 

Manifest who walks in your door. Manifest who finds you online. Manifest who calls your office trying to find you. Manifest who sends you an email late at night for an immediate need. 

As an entrepreneur, you have the power to work with WHO you want to work with. 

In the start-up phase of a business, you may have to take on every client you can get. This is one of the sacrifices we make in the beginning of the entrepreneurship journey. However, the earlier you identify who you want to work with, the less you will need to sacrifice and the sooner they will show up.

Use the 5 senses:

What does your ideal client 1. look like 2. sound like 3. feel like 4. smell like (pick a good scent!) and 5. taste like?

OK- what I really mean is, what scents and tastes do your clients gravitate towards?

WHO means the most to them?

If you have an office, light a candle that smells the way you think your client would want a space to smell. Play background music that you feel will connect to who they are. If they enjoy visiting the rainforest, play the sound of rain in the background of your meeting.

For my business, I evaluated who my ideal client was year after year. Each year, it developed into something more and more specific. 

I knew where my clients lived, how many homes they had, how many pets they had, what kinds of cars they drove, what hobbies they enjoyed, what holidays they were hosting and what countries they enjoyed travelling to most.

SPECIFIC.

What kind of pens do your clients want to write with?

What kind of customer service are they expecting?

 It is ALL connected. 

 KNOW your client.
